Stand
Don't keep your head in the sand, so to speak, and decide what you want in your life and what you're willing to 'put up with.' Focus on what you want but state your boundaries in the relationship. Be willing to stand by what you want for your life experience. If you don't no one else will. Get to know a variety of people, enjoy each one for who and what they are, let things develop slowly and naturally. Don't jump into anything too soon, and don't worry about where things are going - it detracts from the enjoyment...

Good advice...keeping our heads in the sand is almost like having tunnel vision or worse. It's better to know what's going on around us like you suggest and making wise choices with this knowledge. :)
